Dylan Rees holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY,
where he currently works as a postdoctoral fellow with the Darrin Fresh Water Institute.
His current research employs electromicrobiology and dissimilatory metal-reducing bacteria
as tools for the creation of sustainable electronic materials and biological sensors.
He is also interested in sustainability, design, socially-situated engineering, urban agriculture,
and the application of social science and humanities research to the practice of science and engineering.
